Helicopter employed: BO 105

heli The BO 105 was developed by Messerschmidt Bölkow Blohm (MBB) (now Eurocopter). It possesses two engines, each with 405 hp with a maximum speed of 220 km/h. CHARM® has an EASA certificate for this type of helicopter. CHARM® is built modularly so that it can be set up or installed on the helicopter within 30 mins. To support the crew, instruments are installed which display the position of the helicopter in relation to the pipeline in real time. The pilot is therefore always able to keep the helicopter over the pipeline route sufficiently. The average altitude during pipeline monitoring is between 100-150 m, the monitoring speed between 55-75 km/h.
